slow slow progression. Cloth not yet clothy enough, glass not glassy and cream not creamy enough,....

Holzkirchner exhibition public library will not sell, with the help of a friend next exhibition will follow at once at Krankenhaus rechts der Isar, entrance hall, and afterwards next Hotel Prinzregent Riem.... if it´ll sell three pics, the expenses so far will be balanced. Hobby painting is an expensive hobby...

Apr 21 13 h ..starting to love the pic. It hasn´t disappointed me, has kept it´s promises that a very nice painting is sleeping in the foto it´s not finished yet. The rewarding part begins: the details the shimmering and reflexions of glass and metal that make the "how did you do this?" effect...

...the pic balances on a razor´s edge between very nice and about to be completely spoiled by oblique axes and ellipses of the glass...it is going to be presentable Thursday anyway.

...eight years back I could hold my concentration for four hours - today I´m tired after two. Beginning of old age...

April 28 Two hours to solve the problem of the lighting on the checkered towel, and to improve the glass pot. Surface of the cookies still not tasty....

The end price / working hours ratio is at the moment : payment per hour 0,5 Euro.

April 29, 2013 ...I declare this painting finished. Why declare? Because it is not finished, it´s presentable now - four more pics waiting impatiently to get done before exhibition closes it´s doors again at the end of may....

..if I can teach u to paint the surface of the chocolate this realistically tasty? I can´t . Why not? It´s beyond consciousness - it´s done by the kiss of the muse - called: talent.

April 30, 2013, 71:21 pm GER .. the above painting is on the exhibit now. When I carried it inside, a woman stopped me and asked if the pic will be on exhibit here and now. I handed her a flyer, at least people start to know that there IS an exhibition of paintings in the library. Went into a cafe, learned they do exhibitions, too. First they were quite reluctant, I was already turning around to leave the Cafe when I asked if they want to have a flyer. They took it and it was really fun to see their eyes open wide and making a U -turn from reluctant to inviting when they saw it is all cookies and cafe. The name of their place is sugar-atelier.

still looks the same?

..we added orange, bright sky blue, magenta, fir tree green, burnt umbra soil, white, a particular secret is bright sky blue, technically called permanent light blue or Phtalo-Cyanine Blue (correct cyanine - so never lick the bristles of your paintbrushes to get them smooth) glossy brown surfaces and glass reflects in Phtalo-Cyanine Blue..

still fumbling on Zucchinimuffins. Quite a lot of masonwork to do to change orange spots into real objects consting of baked crumbly dough. Still not ready, but presentable ..will bring it tomorrow to the exhibition. 3 half-done paintings waiting ..saw u today with ur white Jacket...

May 04. Starting the final layers of Melon salad, the painting´s reflection is visible in the mirror on the window sill. Why a mirror? Looking in the mirror the distance between me and the painting is doubled so I can see the effect from a distance and the picture looks different in the mirror, so I can look at it with a neutral look like any other person. #
